Huge home for offices, shops gets going in Pflugerville; first up, hundreds of apartments

Work is underway on the first part of a 45-acre, mixed-use development in southwestern Pflugerville.

Executives at real estate investment and management firm Presidium Group LLC said Dec. 3 they have started work on a 272-apartment complex called The Elliott in the Travis County suburb.

A total of 10 phases are planned in the Pecan District that Presidium is co-developing with landowner and developer Cid Galindo.

The project’s architect is Mark Odom Studio. Jones|Carter is the civil engineer and CPH Structural Engineering Inc. is the structural engineer. Design Workshop is crafting the project’s landscape features and AYS Engineering will handle the project’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing components.

The Pecan District is located at the corner of Old Austin Pflugerville Road and South Heatherwilde Boulevard, near Pflugerville Middle School in the southwestern part of the city.
